Assam 10th Result 2016 Assam HSLC Results 2016 About:The Council for Higher Secondary Education, Assam (AHSEC) was established in 1984 by an Act (called the Assam Higher Secondary Education Act, 1984) with the mandate to regulate, supervise and develop the system of Higher Secondary Education (+2 stage) in the State of Assam. The AHSEC is nourishing the students in the state for plus two programme.
The Council for Higher Secondary Education, Assam is responsible for prescribing curricula (scheme of studies), syllabus and courses of instructions for Higher Secondary stage which may be imparted in a College/Higher Secondary School, conduct examination based on such courses, publish the results of its examinations, HS Schools and to withdraw such recognition, take such disciplinary action as it think fit against institutions as prescribed by Regulations etc.
